Kayak angling is one of the fastest growing sports in the world right now. It has came in with a fury over the past 5 years. The peacefulness and serenity of being on the water and silently almost stalking fish with a low profile approach. Even the big bass boat guys are gettin on board, but there was something missing. Everyone likes to hit those points on windy day with a big Alabama Rig, but they are just to bulky and hard to cast from a low seated position. Well the PTL V-Rig knocks that problem out of the park. Very easy to cast on both a spinning or casting setup and a gentle retrieve that doesn't pull you off your spot every cast. Definitely a 5 star product for anyone in the kayak industry!

It's a great rig works amazing throw a barrel swivel on it to prevent tangling issues. Fair warning it does not come with the plastics. Overall I would suggest buying this product for grass shallow water.
Our baits look so sick on these Picasso V-Rigs we just had to offer them on our site. The three biggest things we love about these rigs are (A) When rigged with the same size weighted swimbait hooks, these rigs run horizontally which allows you to fish in shallow water and work through cover as well. (B) Unlike traditional A-rigs, these V-Rigs are much lighter and a lot easier on the body to throw all day long. (C) If you're fishing deeper water, you can just put a heavier swimbait hook on one end and the V-Rig will come through the water vertically like a spinnerbait. Put a couple Swinging Hammers on the business ends and use our Grubs or 3.6" JP Hammer Shads (or both) as teasers to drive the fish wild. Plus, the heat treated wire on these rigs create the perfect combination of vibration and durability. Wait until you see these V-Rigs in action! We offer them in a variety of V4, V6, and V8 configurations for your bassin' pleasure.
I personally love these V-Rigs for shallow water applications. The amount of commotion our Swinging Hammers put off on these things makes for some incredible top water explosions when working them just beneath the surface. I recommend throwing them on a 7' 6" medium heavy casting rod with 30 to 50 lb braid. For really clear water, a 20 lb Fluoro leader at the end of your braid will do the trick.
